The Little Christmas Tree!

The tiny painted Christmas Tree with a purple star atop resides inside a concentric circle, with another little friendly purple star inside its own concentric circular motif to the left. Little beacons of joy during the festive season! This is a really colourful and textured artwork, packed with minuscule pieces of hand-stitched and beaded fabrics, made especially for Christmastide.

Please look at all the images - there's one where I'm holding the frame, and another where I'm holding the card that the piece is attached to. These will help you get an idea of the scale (I only make delicate, little artworks!).

The edges of the canvas are painted in pink, and the canvas is permanently attached to a 6" x 6" piece of white card inside the frame. It's ready to either hang or sit on a table or shelf and the frame is 2.4" deep.

Materials: Gouache, ink, pencil, paper, sewn fabrics with beads, and glittery card. The glittered card and the painted sections on paper have been sprayed with a glossy varnish to help protect the colours and to give them a glossy finish.

It might be small in size, but this little piece is full to the brim with delicate hand stitches; it took a couple of days to complete.
