This is the 6th mixed media artwork I've made from a series called Razzle Dazzle:

The wall said "I want to Sparkle
And Twinkle and Glitter
Just for the hell of it
Give me some Razzamatazzle!"
(te voila!)

Because every bead and sequin is placed by hand, no two pieces in the Razzle Dazzle series are ever quite the same. This is more than just a painting; it’s a tiny, stitched celebration of colour and texture ready to brighten your home.

The artwork is permanently attached to an 8" x 8" white card, which fits inside the frame. The frame is 2.4" deep.

The edges of the canvas are painted in a yellowish-custard colour, and the art is bustling with lovely texture from all the beadwork and sequins which have been sewn into the fabrics.

At the widest point, the width of the artwork is approximately 11.4 cm/ 4.5 inches
At the widest point, the height of the artwork is approximately 11.3 cm/ 4.4 inches
Please look at all the images; you will see that my hand is holding the artwork in some of the photos, which helps you get an idea of the scale (I only make delicate, small pieces!).

Materials: Gouache, ink, pencil, paper, beads, sequins, and a variety of stitched fabrics.
The circular painted sections on paper have been sprayed with a glossy varnish to help protect the colours and to give them a shiny finish.

It might be small in size, but it's bursting with delicate hand stitches and took a few days to complete.
