Contemporary Artwork: Original Framed Abstract Painting with Beaded Hand Embroidery

This is the 9th mini textile artwork I've made from a series called Razzle Dazzle. With a palette mainly consisting of blues, greens, and peachy-orange tones, it has an almost abstract ocean feel to it, I think... It's a bit of a dreamy one!

As always, this mixed media painting also has some very pretty sparkly beads, sequins, and lovely, tiny pieces of fabrics and wool included. These have all been hand stitched in an abstract style.

The wall said "I want to Sparkle
And Twinkle and Glitter
Just for the hell of it
Give me some Razzamatazzle!"

Created on a 4" x 4" wooden panel and is permanently attached to a 6" x 6" white card that fits inside the frame. The frame is 3.4 cm/ 1.3" deep.

At the widest point, the width of the artwork is approximately 11 cm/ 4.3 inches
At the widest point, the height of the artwork is approximately 11.4 cm/ 4.5 inches
Please look at all the images; you will see that my hand is holding the artwork in some of the photos, which helps you get an idea of the scale (I only make precious little pieces).

Materials: Gouache, ink, pencil, paper, beads, sequins, and a variety of stitched fabrics.
The circular painted section and the painted wood panel have been sprayed with a glossy varnish to help protect the colours and to give them a shiny finish.
