A decorative seashell artwork inspired by the beautiful colours and rhythms of the ocean. An image of an abstract conch shell has been painted in Gouache, inks, and coloured pencil whilst the abstract textile forms have been hand-stitched with felt and delicate fabrics, pretty beads, and shiny sequins. There are 3 little pink/ purple shells also drawn with pencil and ink onto individual pieces of paper which are on the left side of the artwork.

Seaside Diamond
The diamond sleeps
The waves awake
A diamond dreams
And waves are washing
Shells awake
Washing over, like soft feathers
Washing over, seaside treasures
Everything I make is small, but this piece is a tad (just a tad!) larger than most! The base is a 5" x 5" Ampersand panel. There is hand embroidery surrounding the edges making the maximum height 5.6" x maximum width 5.5" and the maximum depth 0.6"
