At the time of creating this beaded embroidery art, it was neither ladybird nor pumpkin season, but then again we see an other-worldly eccentric scene where Spring through to Winter is topsy-turvy, and dottybugs rule the roost in a delicately beaded landscape. These crazy little critters spend their days capturing pumpkins with magical sparkle webs, as annotated in the poem below - which will be included:
Dottybugs
3 pink kingpins
1 pink pumpkin
3 blue sparkle webs
It's a pie trap!
Fast now, pink cartel
Fasten pie, faster, fly!
Hurry up, dotty bugs
Open wide & down the hatch!
This quirky miniature artwork is on a small 4" x 4" Ampersand panel. The maximum height is 4.5", maximum width is 4.5", and in places, the maximum depth is 0.5"; due to the hand sewn fabrics and beadwork going slightly beyond the edges of the wooden panel, as you can see in the images
Gouache, paper, inks, pencil, fabrics, beads - art is sold unframed
