A delicate beaded textile artwork in green, lilac, and purple colours, inspired by the wonderfully exuberant landscapes we start to see flourish during the warmest Summer months. Isn't it lovely once the trees start to have full heads of hair (lots of leaves), and are surrounded by wild grasses with hints of colourful plants popping up all over the place!
There are 5 little painted concentric abstract circle shapes with green trees in the centre surrounded by a cornucopia of fabrics and beads - these tiny fabrics have all been handstitched over many hours. I got rather carried away making a number of 'July' pieces - this is the 3rd version and it will be accompanied by a handwritten copy of the short poem you can see in one of the pictures.
Sewn fabrics surround the edges of the piece making the maximum height 4.7", maximum width 5.1", and in places, the maximum depth 0.7", the base is a 4" x 4" canvas panel
Mixed Media: Gouache, inks, pencil, paper, sequins, hand-embroidery with beadwork
There's a hook on the back of this miniature artwork; I can remove it if you prefer - select if you would like to keep it when placing your order
